HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER
Membership, in our tradition, is based upon a covenant—what we promise to do, not what we say we believe. Membership in CCUCC is a commitment of your faith, time and resources. Those interested in becoming a member attend approximately four classes with the minister. The classes consist of the history of CCUCC, the congregational model of our church, your spiritual journey and you are usually asked to write a statement of faith. At the end of the series of classes, you are given the opportunity to join CCUCC.
As a member you will be able to vote during Congregational meetings, lead a team, teach Sunday school, and help guide development of the church.
Membership classes are held periodically throughout the year. They are required for those becoming members here at CCUCC. The class is designed to help people understand what church membership is and whether it is something they want to do. If you are interested, please contact Pastor Mike Bass at mike@pullmanucc or call (509) 332-6411.
