As a congregational church, we function very much like a democracy. We are both self-funded and self-governed. Key decisions are made by the members of the congregation – sometimes in congregational meetings where we all have voice and vote and sometimes by those we have designated to work on our behalf, like officers, boards, teams, and staff.

The Church Council serves as the executive body of the church and coordinates all of the ministries of the church. The Council is composed of the Moderator, Moderator-Elect, Treasurer, Clerk and Pastor, as well as representatives from each team.

The Council is accountable to the membership and the membership is accountable to the mission of God’s unconditional love.
