Friday, November 2, 5-7pm  Sneak Preview and 20% discount for volunteers

Saturday, November 3, 9-5pm

Sunday, November 4, noon-4pm

It’s time for the 13th Annual International Fair Trade Sale in conjunction with Singing Shaman Traders. Doing some early holiday shopping here will support a fair wage for artists and artisans living around the world.  New this year are beautiful jewelry made from beads created by people living in garbage dumps in Guatemala.  Safe Passage is one organization working with those people.  Check out the video on that website to understand the conditions they are living in, and also the good work being done to assist them.

Roger and Nancy, of Singing Shaman Traders are still seeking several volunteers to help with the sale, so sign up on the sheet in the narthex or email the church office.  All volunteers will get a 20% discount and first shot at shopping at a special wine and cheese gala evening Friday, November 2-the night before the sale.

Volunteers can help with a variety of tasks including uploading and loading items (before and after event, roughly 45 minutes) cashiers, general floor help, kitchen help, and sign distribution–getting the word out around town that we’re coming! Please tell your friends and family.

Singing Shaman is running a contest for a $35 gift certificate on their Facebook page.  To be eligible for the drawing (which will be Sunday), just “Like” them on Facebook.  Get there by clicking the link below.
