The Great Partnership: Science, Religion, and the Search For Meaning

Book group begins new read
Tuesdays at 6:15pm beginning April 5
We were so impressed by Jonathan Sacks’ book, Not in God’s Name, that we decided to read another one. In The Great Partnership, Rabbi Sacks writes with a clear voice about the necessity of both religion and science, with a breadth and depth of understanding of history, social science, and philosophy. He presents an argument for the important place of religion in society, albeit one of reduced influence in the larger public sphere. Everyone is invited to read and discuss on Tuesday evenings. Although the group meets weekly, you can participate whenever you are able and can ‘join’ at any time.
If you’d like Chip to order a book for you ($15.00), or for more information fill out the form below.
