Pride 2014: Extending Our Welcome!

Each year people and organizations around the Palouse come together to show support for LGBTQ brothers and sisters. We have had a welcoming presence at the Parade and Festival for years in order to make sure everyone knows they don’t have to give up their spiritual lives when they come out!
We’d like to extend our welcome at the Palouse Pride Festival again this year, but we need your help to do this! When a group of us participate, it is fun and a great way to meet and greet with all kinds of people at the festival, as well as tell them about the church. Look for the church logo on the 2014 Pride T Shirt! The walk is easy and at the festival we have a booth, with a canopy for shade and chairs for sittin’. We need help during the following time periods.
Set up booth at East City Park: 9:00am to 11:00am.
Walk as a group representing CCUCC in the Pride Rally: a group of us will convene at the starting point behind Safari Pearl, 3rd and Jackson in Moscow. (park on street, not in lot) We have a few signs and banners but you are welcome to bring your own.
Table shifts: 11:00am to 4:00pm.
Clean up and teardown: 3:30-4:00pm break down booth, help Chip load up his RAV4 and unload at church back in Pullman.
