- DAYLIGHT SAVINGS! – Remember to turn your clocks back on November 7. If you forget, you’ll be early for worship and you’ll miss out on an extra hour of sleep!
- CONGREGATIONAL MEETING – Sunday, November 7 following worship. The ultimate decision-making power in our church rests with the congregation rather than with any smaller group or with the pastors. So, if you are a member or active participant please come and share your wisdom regarding our ministry for 2011. We’ll be voting on what we call the “Asking Budget”–the budget that represents the kind of ministry we’d like to do in the coming year.
- ADVENT WORKSHOP – Sunday, November 14 following worship. Good Soups, great crafts to get ready for the season of advent, which begins on November 28 this year. Everyone welcome!
- COMMUNITY COFFEEHOUSE FOR THE GREATER GOOD–OPEN MIC – Friday, November 12 7-9:00pm. Each month proceeds from donations go to worthy organizations. Proceeds from this Coffee House will go to Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves , which greatly impacts women, health, and the environment. People of all ages are invited to attend and/or participate. Come, have a great time, and make a difference! If you’d like to bring refreshments, perform, or help out in any way, contact Amy Meredith. Last month we raised $150 for Oxfam’s work with Pakistan flood victims!
- YOGA – Fridays at 1:00 p.m. in Brewster Hall. (No Class on April 23)
- MEDITATION – Wednesdays at noon (meditation begins at 12:15) 30 minutes of sitting meditation -in the Fireside Room. Everyone is welcome.
